Today’s society is becoming more fitness conscious as sedentary living, a higher incidence of chronic disease and an aging population places an even greater emphasis on preventative health care. Heightened public awareness of the health benefits of regular physical activity, exercise therapy and lifestyle modification has increased the demand for well-qualified fitness, health and recreation professionals.
