Vancouver Community College International: Culinary Arts Program Updates

Change of Location for Culinary Arts Certificate (11 months)

Starting September 2014, students will have the opportunity to work in different kitchen settings, including the newly renovated kitchen at the VCC Broadway Campus:

Vancouver Community College is offering the Combination of Two Certificates Programs: Culinary Arts Certificate (11 months) + Asian Culinary Certificate (5 months)

Some of the benefits of combining the two certificates (compared to the 11-month Culinary Arts Certificate) include:

  • Opportunity to train in 3 different kitchens (Carson Graham Secondary of North Vancouver, VCC Broadway Campus, VCC Downtown Campus)
  • Learn a specialty (in Asian Culinary Arts)
  • Equivalent to two-years of full-time study

*Note: The Culinary Arts Diploma (17 months) program for March 2014 is currently full, but Vancouver Community College is placing students on the waitlist if they meet all admissions requirements and have valid study permits. Note: The September 2014 intake is filling up quickly.
