About Waikato Institute of Technology

WINTEC is a Government Funded Institute of Technology, established in the year 1924. WINTEC is located in the dynamic, multicultural city of Hamilton, New Zealand’s 4th largest city and home to over 46,000 tertiary students every year. WINTEC have 3 main campuses with over 20,000 students, including 1200 International students representing 47 different countries. All the campuses are equipped with 24 hour computer and internet access and some of the best purpose-built training facilities in the country.


Wintech offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the fields of Business/IT/Media Arts/Health and Social Practice/Sports & Exercise Science/Engineering etc.
