Brunel University Scholarships for International students

Brunel University offers more than 100 scholarships every year to help international students. Some awards are worth up to £6000 a year to help partially fund university fees and living costs.

Brunel has a range of scholarship packages and works in partnership with several scholarship organisations and bodies including Chevening, The Commonwealth Scholarships and Santander Mobility Awards.

Scholarship Number available in 2017 Value Application process
International Excellence Scholarship 50 £3,000 fee waiver on tuition fee for year 1 only. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2017 (11.59pm GMT).
Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship 30 £6,000 for 3 years, subject to progression criteria. The closing date for applications is 7 March 2017.
Country specific scholarships 20 in total for 10 selected countries:

Colombia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam.

£5,000 or £7,500 depending on the country. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2017 (11.59pm GMT).
Brunel Santander International Scholarship 5 £5,000 tuition fee waiver for year 1 only. The closing date for applications is 31 May 2017 (11.59pm GMT).
Dean’s Occupational Therapy Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria £3,000 tuition fee waiver per academic year. International applicants will be invited to apply directly by the Admissions tutor and should provide a 500 word essay explaining why they would be an excellent ambassador for both Brunel and their chosen profession. The personal statement should be sent to the Admissions Tutor within 10 days of being invited to apply for the scholarship.
Dean’s Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria £3,000 tuition fee waiver per academic year. International applicants will be invited to apply directly by the Admissions tutor and should provide a 500 word essay explaining why they would be an excellent ambassador for both Brunel and their chosen profession. The personal statement should be sent to the Admissions Tutor within 10 days of being invited to apply for the scholarship.
Dean’s International Scholarship for Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering 10 £2,000 tuition fee waiver per academic year. Applicants apply as normal for the relevant BEng or MEng course in the usual way. All required information will be taken from the course application, this includes predicted grades and personal statement.
Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria 15% tuition fee discount No application, the fee waiver is applied automatically
MSc Oil & Gas Engineering Scholarship Awarded to all those that meet the eligibility criteria until all available funds have been allocated. 50% tuition fee waiver, £8,750 for international applicants. Apply for the course indicating a desire to be considered for the Scholarship, including in the personal statement evidence of a desire to pursue a career in Oil and Gas Engineering.
MSc Structural Integrity Scholarship 16  £12,500 fee waiver Apply as normal indicating a desire to be considered for the Scholarship, including evidence of a desire to pursue a career in Structural Integrity in the personal statement.

Self-funding students who pay their fees in full by enrolment are also entitled to a prompt payment discount of 2%. Additionally Brunel Alumni are entitled to an Alumni discount of 15%.
