Staffordshire University Application Instructions

Staffordshire University is proud to announce a new range of International Scholarships.

  • New Merit Scholarships*

Available to international students enrolling for the first time on campus in September 2016 and January 2017.

The Merit Scholarships will be awarded automatically on application to the University as follows:


(International Year One Engineering)

Automatic £1,000 scholarship for applicants who meet the published entry requirements.
Undergraduate Automatic £1,000 Scholarship for applicants who meet the published entry requirements.
Postgraduate taught Automatic Scholarship as follows:

Applicants with results equivalent to UK First Class degree: £2,000

Applicants with results equivalent to UK 2:1 degree: £1,500

Applicants with results equivalent to a 2:2 degree: £1,000

  • New Undergraduate Progression Scholarships*

The New Undergraduate Progression Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis dependent on performance across the full academic year.

On progression to Years 2, 3 and 4 (dependent on performance across the full academic year) the following will be awarded: Aggregate First Class Degree: £2,000
Aggregate 2.1 Class Degree: £1,500
Aggregate 2.2 Class Degree: £1,000
  • International Partnerships Progression Scholarship*
£1,000 Scholarship for all students who progress to Staffordshire University from an International Partner Institution

      Vice chancellor scholarships at Staffordshire university upto £1500 are awarded basis to students who meet the entry criteria and have already been offered a place on a full-time undergraduate or taught postgraduate degree except PhD’s, LLB’s, LPCs, IFPs and English Language Courses. will be deducted from the payment of first year’s tuition fees

      You need to initially apply for the program and have an offer before applying for the scholarship. Applications for scholarships have to be sent before 27th June.

    I want to apply for postgraduate in Staffordshire University. My question is from where do I get an application form?
    and also I did not understand the 3rd paragraph about additional scholarships of 1000 pounds that are going to be issued to students who have India as their country of domicile?

    Myself Sanjay.
    My important scores are as follows:
    10th- 67%
    12th-69%- Science field
    15th- 72% Bcom from University of Madras.
    GRE- 140 and Analytical writing- 4.
    Do I stand a good chance of getting the Scholarship at Staffordshire University, UK?
    I am waiting for your reply please answer my question.

      What course are you interested in applying for?
      Your GRE Score is way too low. As for scholarship, you will need to contact university directly as decision on scholarship lies with admission team.

      You can apply for MBA at Staffordshire University, if you fulfill following criteria –
      1. Bachelors degree with first class or upper second class
      2. IELTS score of 6 and above
      3. 2 years of full-time work experience is recommended but NOT mandatory
