Merit Scholarship 2017 for UG Applicants

University of Chester has introduced a new merit scholarship of GBP 1,000 for students joining Undergraduate courses in September 2017. It is their strong belief that this scholarship will support efforts in recruiting the best students to the University.

The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is mentioned below:

Merit Scholarship amount:  GBP 1000  (addition to the available international scholarship of 1,000 pounds)

Tuition Fees for 2017 / 2018: GBP 11,800 per annum

Eligibility Criteria for the Merit Scholarship: Overall 65% in CBSE & ISE(National Boards) and 70% in State Boards of 12th standard

Entry to UG courses: Overall 60% in 12th standard (National & State Boards)

English Requirements: 65 or above marks in 12th standard English  OR  6.0 bands overall in IELTS with no less than 5.5 in each section


Commonwealth Scholarship 2017

University of Chester is offering Commonwealth Scholarship applications for September 2017 that opened on 17th November 2016 and closes on 17th March 2017.

There 6 Scholarship available for 2017 and students can apply for the following courses:

  • MPH Public Health
  • MSc Biomedical Sciences
  • MSc Cardiovascular Rehabilitation
  • MSc Family and Child Psychology
  • MSc Global Health
  • MSc Management with International Business
  • MSc Public Health Nutrition
  • MSc Wildlife Conservation

Steps to apply for Scholarship:

To apply students must complete the following steps:

1)      Completed a University of Chester International Application Form with all supporting documents

2)      Complete the above attached Expression of Interest Form and send

3)      Complete an online Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Commission application via the Electronic Application System (EAS) which can be accessed via
