International Student Scholarship

International Student Scholarship is for incoming and current international students who pay full out-of-state tuition. It is based on academic merit, and it applies to tuition only and ranges from $2,000 to $4,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements

Value: $4,000 a year ($2,000 for each semester of fall and spring semesters)

Minimum requirements to receive scholarship up to $4,000 per year:

Undergraduate Students:

  • Freshman: High school grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
    • 76 or higher on TOEFL IBT,
    • 540 or higher on TOEFL ITP or PBT,
    • 5 on IELTS
  • Transfer students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale
  • Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale
  • Current students: 3.50 cumulative AUM grade-point average.

Graduate Students:

  • Incoming first-year students: Undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
    • 76 or higher on TOEFL IBT,
    • 540 or higher on TOEFL ITP or PBT,
    • 5 on IELTS
  • Current students: 3.75 cumulative AUM grade-point average.

Value: $2,000 a year ($1,000 for each semester of fall and spring semesters)

Minimum requirements to receive scholarship up to $2,000 per year:

Undergraduate Students:

  • Freshman: High school grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
    • 68 or higher on TOEFL IBT,
    • 520 or higher on TOEFL ITP or PBT,
    • 0 on IELTS
  • Transfer students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale
  • Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale
  • Current students: 3.00 cumulative AUM grade-point average.

Graduate Students:

  • Incoming first-year students: Undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:
    • 68 or higher on TOEFL IBT,
    • 520 or higher on TOEFL ITP or PBT,
    • 0 on IELTS
  • Current students: 3.25 cumulative AUM grade-point average.
