University of Maine International Scholarships for 2017-2018

Priority Deadlines:

Students need to have a complete undergraduate application on file in order to be considered for all UMaine international scholarships:

  • For Spring 2017 admission – by November 1, 2016
  • For Fall 2017 admission – by February 1, 2017.

International Presidential Scholarship

The University of Maine offers a limited number of undergraduate International Presidential Scholarships in recognition of outstanding academic performance valued at $15,000 per academic year.

International Flagship Scholarship

All first-year and transfer international undergraduate applicants to the University of Maine are considered for this international scholarship valued up to US$10,000 per academic year.

International Dean’s Scholarship

All first-year and transfer international undergraduate applicants to the University of Maine are considered for this international scholarship valued up to US$5,000 per academic year.

Maine Global Partner Scholarship

High achieving international students graduating from Maine high schools are considered for this scholarship valued up to US$2,000 per academic year.

Intensive English Institute Discovery Scholarship

All international applicants to the Intensive English Institute are considered at the time of application for this international scholarship valued up to US$2,000 per academic year. Students who are conditionally admitted to UMaine are also eligible for this scholarship. Students can Apply for the Discovery Scholarship.

Graduate Student Scholarships

International graduate applicants are considered for graduate funding through graduate assistantships, fellowships and scholarships.
