About University of Michigan-Flint

The University of Michigan-Flint is one of three campuses of the world renowned University of Michigan system. There are more than 8,000 students enrolled at UM-Flint. Many international students who enroll at the Flint campus are looking for a small campus atmosphere, while still being a part of a world renowned institution. UM-Flint graduates go on to become integral members of the University of Michigan’s alumni network, which to date is the largest alumni network in the world and consists of more than 540,000 UM grads!

UM-Flint enjoys national-caliber academics with full accreditation.  UM-Flint offer’s Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral programs in more than 100 programs of study. UM-Flint is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of six regional accrediting agencies in the United States. The HLC is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation.
