All applicants must meet WSU English Proficiency Requirement: IELTS ≥ 6, OR TOEFL ≥ 79/120 (IBT), OR Pearson PTE ≥ 57 OR Successful completion of LEAP Level 4, TOEFL Waiver track.

Wright State University Scholarship

CRITERIA

  1. 1.     If the program requires GRE, then the following criteria apply.

Minimum Cut-off to be considered: GRE Quant – 156 AND GPA – 3.3

TIER 1: GPA of 3.9 or GRE Quant – 164

TIER 2: GPA of 3.6 or GRE Quant – 160

TIER 3: GPA of 3.3 AND GRE Quant – 156

  1. 2.    If the program does not require GRE, then the following criteria apply.

Minimum Cut-off to be considered: GPA – 3.5

TIER 1: GPA of 3.9

TIER 2: GPA of 3.7

TIER 3: GPA of 3.5

AWARD AMOUNTS

TIER 1:  (75% Out of State Tuition) – Approximately Min $1912 for 6 credit hours & Max $3428 for 11 or more credit hours

TIER 2:  (50% Out of State Tuition) – Approximately Min $1275 for 6 Credit hours & Max $2285 for 11 or more credit hours

TIER 3:  (25% Out of State Tuition) – Approximately Min $636 for 6 Credit hours & Max $1142 for 11 or more credit hours

Note: The Scholarship amount is subject to change based on Tuition & Fees

Points to consider:

– The Scholarship is for the first academic year only. The amount specified is for every semester. The student must maintain a GPA of 3.0 every semester to continue receiving the scholarship for the first academic year.

– Please note that if any student loses the scholarship at any point, it will not be reactivated in later semesters even though the student’s GPA rises above 3.0.

– The Scholarship is applicable for 3 consecutive semesters in the first academic year.
